Windows Vista Basic, is ultimate
if you use Windows Vista Basic and you compare it to the ultimate version or the premium or ultimate 7 version you will notice that, your title bars and task bar ins’t see through (transparent)
well in order to fix this you could download window blinds… but why bother paying good money for something your only going to use every now and again
so download a vista theme patcher (these are free)
then download the windows 7 theme or the steel flash 100k theme or go 1 further and download the windows 8 professional theme (warning you will need to download Winrar) after you have the theme you want, just apply it
i will have you know that not all themes that look transparent in their preview will actually be transparent wen you apply them
but the 3 i mentioned maintain all aspects of see through-ness
one more thing… if you have run the theme patcher, you will need to restart your computer before you apply the new theme
there are other ways to give you the look of 7, but i wouldn’t recommend using upgrade packs full stop, these mess with you system and can destroy your computer. I would recommend using a “theme pack”
for example… the 7 heme pack comes with the theme and also small things to make your vista computer look like 7, such as iconized task bar, and patchers to make little things feel like 7
the 8 theme pack comes with the theme plus several tweaks to make you vista computer look like a devil, this includes ViGlance, this is the windows 7 feature but, it works just as well on vista
dont be taken in by transformation packs, the mess a computer up bad
use theme packs
